What Is An Electrosmog Meter?

This meter will give a home or business owner a basic understanding of RF and EMF exposure in their environment and help to identify the primary sources of electro-pollution in an environment. Note: If you are comparing your measurements to the Institute for Building Biology Guidelines and wish to achieve levels in the no concern range, a more sensitive meter is required. Please see our RF Meter or EMF Meter page or consult with one of our technical experts

Multi-Mode RF Meter With Frequency Display And Data Logging - 5G Ready! Low-Mid Bands

The new Cornet ED98QPro5G (0.1-8GHz) Quad-Mode Electrosmog meter offers frequency display, real time waveform display and data logging, with a built-in light flicker sensor.

New Feature:

The Light Flicker mode is an excellent tool for measuring the LED light flicker problems in living environments, which is known to affect human health and are regulated by the new EU, UL, and IEEE1789 of USA safety standards. Easy to use and affordable.

Features:

  • Measures Radio Frequency between 0.1 – 8 GHz
  • Radio Frequency Counter to display dominant source between 100 MHz - 4.2 GHz
  • Measures Low Frequency AC Magnetic Fields between 50 Hz – 10 kHz
  • Measures Low Frequency AC Electric Fields between 50 Hz – 50 kHz
  • Measures Light Flicker rate from modern light sources and digital displays
  • Sound signature analysis, with volume control
  • Up to 50 hours of RF data logging
  • USB interface to PC
  • Peak RF power density measurement: 0.5 uW/m2 to 1.8 W/m2
  • Max, Average and Hold function (for RF measurements)
  • Histogram for RF, LF, and E-field modes
  • Ultra-fast colored LED 8x segment level display, for easy signal level indication
  • Battery operated (9V DC Alkaline); > 20hours, or external power through USB port (5V)
  • Small, compact handheld design: 69mm X 130mm
  • 1 year warranty

Additional Features:

The Data Logging interval time has been increased up to 0.001sec.(1msec.) from 0.5sec. The user can now log the data at faster speed to capture the high speed digital RF signal waveform (such as 5G, WiFi, DECT, ....) . It is an excellent tool to view the actual signal waveform of the digital RF signal to identify the signal source. The user can now set the Logging time of (1msec, 0.5sec, 1sec, 10sec, 30sec, 1min, 2min, and 3min) in the Logger setup menu for data Logging. The meter can send it from SRAM Buffer or Flashmem to the PC computer or view it on the LCD display window.

The Statistic mode display window has been improved, the new real time signal waveform display is added to the Statistic data window. the user can now see the actual signal waveform of the RF signal displayed on each screen update. The sampling rate is 42usec/sample and is displayed at 500usec/step for the 0.5sec LCD display update time. The user can use both signal level, frequency, duty cycle and the real time waveform to identify the detected signal. This is very useful for digital RF
signals identification such as 5G, Wifi, DECT, Bluetooth, etc., especially when several different signals are detected within the 0.5sec. LCD display update time, the user will get an inside knowledge of the digital RF signal they are measuring, get the Statistic information of the distribution of the signal levels of each signal and be able to find the best solution for the problem in terms of EMF safety.

Applications:

  • RF field strength/power level measurement
  • RF Data Logging
  • Measuring emissions from cellular phone base stations
  • Telecommunications (e.g. CW,TDMA,GSM,DECT)
  • Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) detection, installations
  • Spy camera, wireless bug finder
  • Cellular/cordless phone radiation safety level
  • Microwave oven leakage detection
  • AC power line, transformer radiation

FAQs

Red & Amber Light FAQs

Why Should I Use Red or Amber Lights at Night?

Because your body wasn’t built for blue light after dark.
Red and amber lights mimic the natural spectrum of firelight—free of melatonin-disrupting blue wavelengths. That means your body can wind down naturally, produce the melatonin it needs, and enter deep, restorative sleep. Whether you're reading, relaxing, or getting up to use the bathroom, red and amber lights support your circadian rhythm instead of fighting it.

How Are Red and Amber Lights Different?

Think of amber as calm and cozy, red as pure sleep sanctuary.

  • Amber lights are great for evening use, reading, and general wind-down lighting. They’re softer than regular bulbs but still give you plenty of visibility without disrupting sleep.
  • Red lights block even more of the blue and green light spectrum—perfect for late-night use, nurseries, or any place you want to create a deeply restful environment.

Where Should I Use These Lights in My Home?

Anywhere you want nighttime light without sacrificing sleep.
We offer solutions for every space:

  • Standard Bulb Replacements: Easily swap out overhead lights or bedside lamps in bedrooms, bathrooms, or hallways.
  • Reading Lights: Clip-on or handheld red/amber lights make evening reading sleep-safe and eye-friendly.
  • Desk & Nightstand Lamps: Ideal for evening work or journaling without flooding your space with harsh overhead light.
  • Nightlights for Kids' Rooms & Bathrooms: No more blasting your child with blue light at midnight—our nightlights offer a gentle glow that won’t interrupt their melatonin or sleep cycles.
  • Cordless, Motion-Sensing Lights: Place them in hallways, bathrooms, closets, staircases, or RVs—anywhere you need low-impact, automatic light that protects your rest.

Do I Still Need to Wear Blue Light Blocking Glasses If I Use Red or Amber Lights?

Not if you fully light your space with red or amber.
When your entire environment is lit with red or amber lighting, you’ve created a blue-light-free zone. That means you can go without glasses. But if you're around screens or bright white lighting elsewhere (think: restaurants, airports, late-night TV), blue light blocking glasses are still a smart tool.

Are These Safe for Kids and Babies?

Yes—and they’re actually better for them.
Children’s eyes are even more sensitive to blue light than adults’. Red and amber lights create a calm, sleep-friendly environment without stimulating their brains. Our plug-in and motion-sensing nightlights are perfect for bedtime routines, middle-of-the-night feedings, and bathroom trips—without waking them up too much or throwing off their circadian rhythm.

Do These Fit in Regular Light Fixtures?

Yes!
Our red and amber bulbs are designed to screw into standard E26 bulb sockets, so no special equipment or adapters are needed. Just swap them in and enjoy healthier nighttime lighting instantly.

Are These Lights Bright Enough to See?

Absolutely—but without the harsh glare.
These aren’t dim party bulbs—they’re designed for real-life usability. Whether you're reading, walking through the hall, or journaling at your desk, our lights give you the clarity you need without stimulating your brain into “wake-up mode.”
